March 18 (TravelAndy): A new low-cost long-haul airline will starts operations from Barcelona to Los Angeles, San Francisco (Oakland), Buenos Aires and Punta Cana.

Named LEVEL, the airline brand is being launched by the International Airlines Group (IAG).

Flights to Los Angeles  will  start on June 1, 2017 and operate twice per week, those to San Francisco (Oakland) will start on June 2, 2017 and operate thrice a week and those  to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) will begin June 10, 2017 and operate twice a week. Fly Bhubaneswar-Kuala Lumpur for INR999

The offer is valid on tickets booked till March 5, 2017, for travel from April 26 to October 27, 2017, said the airline.

February 16 (TravelAndy): AirAsia X will start flights between Kuala Lumpur and Honolulu, in Hawaii, US, from June 28.

The budget airline is offering all-in one way inaugural fares from MYR899. Premium flatbed fares start from MYR2,999.

Air India Express to fly Delhi-Dhaka

Four flights a week will travel between the capital of India and that of Bangladesh, said the airline.

The flight will depart from Delhi on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 13.15 and reach Dhaka at 16.00. Continue Reading →

The airline started with a domestic flight between Oman’s port capital Muscat and Salalah, capital of Dhofar province in the country’s south.

January 25 (Travelandy): AirAsia X, AirAsia’s long-haul, low-cost sister airline, has got clearance from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) to fly to the US, the airline said in a statement.

The airline is the first Asian low-cost carrier to secure approval to operate scheduled passenger flights to the US.

AirAsia X is currently considering flights to several US states including Hawaii as part of its route expansion plans. Continue Reading →
