Pangsau Pass fest from Jan 20
January 16 (TravelAndy): India’s north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh is going to host Pangsau Pass Winter Festival from January 20 to 22, 2017, said the Arunachal Times.
This festival will be celebrated across the Pangsau pass, which is located along the India-Burma border and is a popular tourist destination.

Dong Thap: Vietnam’s flower fest
December 26 (TravelAndy): The Dong Thap tourism festival will be held between January 7 and 14, 2017 in the provincial city of Sa Dec in south Vietnam.
Visitors attending the festival can look forward to a 700-hectare flower field featuring more than 2,000 various plant species, Sa Nhien-Ca Dao Flower Street, an ornamental plant and pet festival, photo exhibition, the giant 12-metre high fall of fresh flowers and a beauty contest, said reports.

Three-day Judima festival begins in Assam
December 19 (TravelAndy): India’s Assam state is hosting the second edition of ‘Judima Festival’ in its hill town Halflong in Dima Hasao district from December 18 to 20.
The name ‘Judima’ comes from a local brew of rice wine, which is available during the festival for tourists to taste.

Nusa Dua fest begins in Bali from Nov 16
November 14 (TravelAndy): Indonesia’s popular tourist destination Bali is going to host Nusa Dua Fiesta during November 16-20.
Malpe beach water sports festival from May 7
April 25 (TravelAndy): India’s Karnataka state is set to attract tourists to its Malpe beach in Udupi district by organizing a water sports festival on May 7 and 8, said The Hindu.
Events will include jet skiing, swimming competition, surfing, kayaking, and speed boating along with boat ride to the nearby St. Mary’s Island.

Goa carnival from February 6
January 23 (TravelAndy): The popular Goa carnival is all set to begin from February 6, this year. The three-day festival will continue till February 9.
The main attraction, the float parade will start in the Panjim, the capital city of Goa, on February 6. The parade will travel to Margao on february 7; to Vasco on February 8. It will finaly conclude in Mapusa on February 9.

River fest kicks off in Arunachal Pradesh
January 23 (TravelAndy): A three-day river festival has begun along the river Kameng in India’s northeastern state, Arunachal Pradesh.
Pacha Morang village in Seppa district of Arunachal Pradesh has been identified as the festival venue.

South India kite festival from Jan 16
January 10 (TravelAndy): Belgavi in Maharashtra and Goa are all set to host the sixth international kite festival from January 16.
The first phase of the festival will start in Belgavi from January 16 and continue till January 18; the following phase will be hosted on Colva beach, south Goa from January 19 to 21. The concluding phase will be held at Miramar beach near Panjim,north Goa on January 22 and 24.
Approximately 25 international kite flyers from the US, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, Russia, Estonia, the Netherlands, France and Italy are expected to participate.
