Singapore Airlines to fly direct to San Francisco

Logo squareJune 27 (TravelAndy): Singapore Airlines is all set to start daily nonstop operations from Singapore to San Francisco, from October 23, the airline said.

At present, Singapore Airlines operates twice-daily flights on the Singapore-San Francisco route. While one flies via Hong Kong, the other makes a stopover in Seoul, Incheon.

With the launch of the nonstop daily flight between Singapore and San Francisco, the Singapore-Seoul-San Francisco route will be re-routed as Singapore-Seoul-Los Angeles, beginning from October 23, 2016, confirmed the airline.

The re-routing to Los Angeles will mark the second daily service of the airline between Singapore and Los Angeles; the other being the existing Singapore-Tokyo Narita-Los Angeles route.

“With new non-stop San Francisco flights and the increase in frequency to Los Angeles, customers will have two flights to choose from each day to both of these popular US West Coast destinations,” said Lee Wen Fen, senior vice president marketing planning, Aingapore Airlines.

The Singapore-San Francisco nonstop route will be the longest route served by the airline.
