December 28 (TravelAndy): Emirates has inaugurated a new lounge at Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport for its passengers.
Located at departure Terminal 3, Level 2, close to gates E22 to E24, the new lounge sprawls over 950 square metres of floor space, and comes with a seating capacity of 162 people. The location also comes with views of the runway and a direct aircraft boarding convenience.
While the airline’s first class, business class, Skywards Platinum and Gold passengers have complimentary entry to the lounge, its Skywards Silver and Blue members have paid access to the facility.
Mohammed Mattar, divisional senior vice president, airport services, Emirates, said, “The new lounge represents an investment of over USD 4.5 million by Emirates, and is an integral part of our focus to provide our premium and loyal customers with the highest levels of comfort and convenience, not just in the air, but also on the ground. The new Rome airport lounge brings to 42 the number of Emirates’ lounges, making it one of the largest airline networks of lounges across the world, and we’ll continue to open new ones and refurbish others.”
The lounge offers comfortable seating options, a business centre, a prayer room, shower facilities, and dining and drinking options.
