IndiGo connects Kannur to three Indian cities
Gurgaon (TAN): IndiGo has announced to operate daily non-stop return flights from Kannur to Chennai, Hyderabad, and Hubli from this month.
Kannur International Airport, all set to become IndiGo’s 67th destination, is the fourth international airport in Kerala, the only state in the country with four international airports.
IndiGo will start the operations from January 25, 2019.

VietJet flights between Seoul & Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island
December 29 (TravelAndy): VietJet started operations between Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island to South Korea’s capital Seoul on December 22 this year.
The airline operates daily between the Vietnamese island and Seoul. While flights from Phu Quoc leave at 3.40 pm and reach Seoul at 10.55 pm, local time, the return flights take off at 1.45 am from the South Korean capital and arrive at Phu Quoc at 5.35 am, local time.
VietJet offered souvenirs and flowers to passengers on the inaugural flights to Seoul and back. The airline is also running special promotions on the tickets to celebrate the new route. It has tied up with Phu Quoc’s Vinpearl Discovery resort, which will offer promotions between March 25 and November 30, 2019.

Emirates opens new lounge at Rome airport
December 28 (TravelAndy): Emirates has inaugurated a new lounge at Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport for its passengers.
Located at departure Terminal 3, Level 2, close to gates E22 to E24, the new lounge sprawls over 950 square metres of floor space, and comes with a seating capacity of 162 people. The location also comes with views of the runway and a direct aircraft boarding convenience.
While the airline’s first class, business class, Skywards Platinum and Gold passengers have complimentary entry to the lounge, its Skywards Silver and Blue members have paid access to the facility.
Flyers demands evolving, reveals survey
July 4 (Notintown.net): There is an evolving demands of passengers for better experiences during mid to long-haul flights, according to a Turkish Airlines conducted Aviation Trends India 2017 survey in association with Nielson.
Conducted online, the survey interviewed respondents to understand their likes and dislikes in the Before Flight, During Flight and After Flight phases of the journey.
