Touristy Goa on your phone

April 27 (TravelAndy): Goa has launched an e-commerce portal and mobile application on both Android and iOS platforms.

This new e-commerce portal and mobile app will provide domestic and international tourists to the popular destination the power to select holiday packages, travel itineraries, book hotel, sight-seeing, adventure trips, spice gardens, water parks, crocodile dundees, dolphin trips and others.

“Right from a pick-up at the airport to the activities available in Goa will be provided under this single portal,” Goa’s tourism minister Dilip Parulekar told The Times of India.

The portal will be available to tourists in six international languages including Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, German and French, apart from Hindi and English.

The e-portal is also supported by a 12-hour contact centre, which will facilitate a faster booking process and shorten the time of response.

This initiative is expected to make Goa much more accessible to both domestic and international tourists.
