Full-service Zoom Air takes flight

February 12 (TravelAndy): Zoom Air operated its inaugural flight from New Delhi to Durgapur in West Bengal today.

The full-service airline is scheduled to start regular commercial operations between Delhi and Durgapur via Kolkata from February 15, said reports.

The airline will have daily multiple direct flights from it’s New Delhi hub to Kolkata and Mumbai. It also will have daily flights between Kolkata and Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, the airline said on its website.

In the Phase-1 of its expansion, the airline said, it intends to connect New Delhi to Aizawl, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Dimapur, Durgapur, Hyderabad, Jorhat, Kolkata, Mumbai and Shillong.
