Water sports galore at Tehri lake fest

October 1 (TravelAndy): India’s Uttarakhand state will host Tehri Festival at Koti colony on the eponymous lake on October 15 and 16.

The two-day festival will have adventure activities such as river rafting, canoeing, paragliding, parasailing and kayaking. Tourists can take part in all the activities and watch experts demonstrate their skills.

Additionally, the festival will showcase high-octane music and dance along with exhibition of firework on the concluding day.

Surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, Tehri lake is one of the popular tourist destinations in Garhwal district.
