Lufthansa to fly Frankfurt-Cape Town from Dec 2

May 31 (TravelAndy): Lufthansa will start direct flights between Cape Town and Frankfurt from December 2, 2016.

The flight will fly thrice a week from Germany on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The aircraft will depart from Frankfurt at 22.10 and reach the Cape Town at 11.00, the following morning.

On the return journey, the flight will leave the South African port city at 18.30 and arrive in Frankfurt at 05.30, the next day.

Cape Town is set to become the second route served by Lufthansa in South Africa, the first being Johannesburg.
