October 22 (TravelAndy): Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is organising a special tour this Diwali.
A special tourist train will leave Madurai in India’s southern Tamil Nadu state, on October 25 at 00.05.
The train will travel touch Gaya, Varanasi, Allahabad, Delhi, Mathura and Agra.
The stations from where tourists will be able to board are Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jollarpettai, Katpadi, Chennai Central, Nellore and Vijayawada. On the return journey, tourists can get down at the same stations they boarded from.
The sleeper class cost per person for this trip is INR10,035 and that of 3AC is INR13,940.
