Indian Railways launches tiger circuit train

June 6 (TravelAndy): Indian Railways flagged off its first tiger circuit train from Delhi’s Safdargunj station yesterday.

“The train with a 5 days/6 nights itinerary will start from Delhi’s Sufdarjung railway station and travel via Katani, Jabalpur, Bandhavgadh, Kanha,” said the statement issued by Indian Railways.

This tourist train, with semi luxury facilities, will allow visitors entry to both Kanha and Bandhavgarh national parks in Madhya Pradesh.

Additionally, tourists would also be taken to the Dhuadhar Waterfall in Bedhaghat near Jabalpur.

This train will be operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), with facilities if on board dining.

The fully air-conditioned train will run regularly on monthly basis from October, 2016, said the release.
