Goa launches pedibus tours for visitors

November 2 (TravelAndy): India’s beach state Goa has officially launched ‘pedibus’, a battery operated vehicle, to attract an increased number of tourists to the state, said reports.

A pedibus is a 10-seater pedal-powered eco-friendly vehicle, which has a seating arrangement similar to a dinner table. Music is played inside the vehicle.

This first of its kind initiative in India, is already popular in the  leading tourist destinations of Europe and North America.

Several pedibus tours have started ferrying across Candolim and Baga in north coastal Goa.

Trips are available for all popular destination including beaches, night markets, sunset points, popular food joints, Goan heritage sites and clubbing spots.

Tours can be booked both online and over the phone.
