August 21, 2018 – Titanic

Synopsis: James Cameron’s “Titanic” is an epic, action-packed romance set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic; the pride and joy of the White Star Line and, at the time, the largest moving object ever built. She was the most luxurious liner of her era — the “ship of dreams” — which ultimately carried over 1,500 people to their death in the ice cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of April 15, 1912.

Showtime: After sunset, 8:20pm

These events remain 100% free unless you’d like the comfort of the VIP section that comes complete with a lawn chair and guaranteed front row seating for CAD20 a seat. New this year, you can also splurge for “dinner and a movie” for only CAD30, which includes a 3-course meal and a VIP seat!

For those who want to keep the evening as cheap as possible, you can just roll up to second beach with a picnic blanket and some food to snack on throughout the night. Don’t forget that these are evening movies, so you might get a little chilly. Bring an extra blanket or two!
