Gulf Air starts Bahrain-Colombo direct flights
January 21 (TravelAndy): Bahrain’s flagship carrier Gulf Air has started direct flights to the Sri Lankan capital Colombo.

Indian tourist e-visa for 36 new countries
July 15 (TravelAndy): To make the country more accessible to foreign visitors, India is planning to extend its e-Tourist visa facility to 36 more countries shortly, said reports.
With approvals from the ministry of home affairs, citizens of Iran, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Italy, Nigeria, Turkey, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan and Morocco will be among the new countries that will get the e-visa service.

Bahrain reduces visa fees by 80% for Indians
June 29 (TravelAndy): With Indian travelers making a significant mark in the global map, Bahrain, looks to bank on them to aid their tourism sector.
In order to attract Indians, Bahrain has curtailed the visa fees for Indian visitors by a significant 80%, said a report by Reeba Zachariah, The Time of India (TOI).

Gulf Air to start Manama-Dhaka flight
April 28 (TravelAndy): Gulf Air has decided to start direct flight services between Bahrain’ capital city Manama and Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, from May 30, said reports.
The five-times-a week flight will depart from Manama either at 0100 or 2010 and reach Dhaka either at 0930 or 0440.
