November 18 (TravelAndy): The annual Rann Utsav is set to begin at the end of November in Kutch, which is situated in the west Indian state of Gujarat.
Around 400 tents would be set up to accommodate for visitors from across the globe.
Along with Rann Utsav, a first ever international beach festival, christened as ‘Festa Di Diu’ is slated to begin in India’s union territory Daman and Diu from December 1.
“Although there will be competition between the two festivals, it will benefit the tourism in the state at the end of the day,” Tourism Development Society chairman Manish Sharma told The Times of India.
While Rann Utsav is a three-month festival and the international beach festival in Diu will last for 75 days.
