After the devastating earthquake in April, like several other countries, China had warned its citizens against travelling to Nepal. The travel advisory was officially lifted on December 25.

Chinese tourists will help rebuild Nepal’s tourism and economy, Sherdhan Rai, Nepal’s minister for information and communications technology told the media.

Eight months after the devastating earthquake, Nepal has finally given official orders to their National Reconstruction Agency to begin work of disaster management.
