After the US government eased travel restrictions to Cuba, JetBlue is the first airline to charter direct flights from the John F. Kennedy airport in New York to Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport.

The weekly flight takes off from New York at 12noon and reach Havana at 3.30pm local time. The return flight leaves Havana at 4.30pm and arrives at New York at 8pm.

Flights can be booked through Cuba Travel Service in New York.

US citizens who have reasons such as visiting a relative, academic purposes and journalistic assignments can visit Cuba. Leisure tourism is still restricted by the US government.
