December 30 (TravelAndy): JetBlue has opened a new seasonal service to connect Colorado’s Steamboat Springs with Boston, California’s Long Beach and Florida’s Fort Lauderdale, during the ski season.
Boston and Long Beach flights operate twice each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while Fort Lauderdale service operates weekly on Saturdays.
The airline will deploy its Airbus A320 to serve the routes for its winter seasonal schedule.
Talking about the new service, Andrea Lisso, director route planning, JetBlue, said, “this winter JetBlue is pairing our award-winning service with the famed champagne powder of Steamboat. And with three new nonstop routes to some of the best skiing in the western US, Steamboat Springs has never been so close to travelers across our network.”
Rob Perlman, president and COO, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp, said, “recognizing the popularity of Steamboat as a destination for guests in New England and south Florida, the resort is thrilled to partner with JetBlue to providecnonstop access for skiers and riders in these markets as well as Long Beach for West Coast vacationers.”
