Indigo hikes ticket cancellation charges

April 1 (TravelAndy): India-based low cost carrier, Indigo has almost doubled its ticket cancellation charge on domestic routes.

Effective from April 1, passengers will have to shell out INR2,250 to make any changes in their flight ticket or cancel it.

Earlier, passengers had to pay INR1,250 for any change or cancellation made before at least a month of travel.

Now, irrespective of the time prior to travel, a domestic passenger will have to pay INR2,250.

However, the cancellation charge for international routes remains unchanged at INR2,500.
