Hyderabad-based TruJet takes off

July 12 (TravelAndy): Hyderabad-based low cost airline TruJet started operations today.

The carrier has begun with flights from Hyderabad to Tirupati and Rajahmundry.

On Friday, TruJet started selling tickets through online travel service provider Goibibo.

Reports said it had plans to extend its services to several other Indian cities including Vijaywada, Vizag and Kadapa.

Incidentally, the only other airline connecting Kadapa is Air Pegasus, which is based in Bengaluru and started a thrice weekly flight last month.
