Finnair to fly Helsinki-Puerto Vallarta from Oct 29

January 20 (TravelAndy): Finland’s flagship carrier Finnair is going to launch a direct flight route between its capital Helsinki and Puerto Vallarta, the beach city in Mexico, from October 29, 2017.

The once-a-week flight will operate every Sunday on this route, said the airline.

This is the first non-charter flight to operate between these two countries.

“The region represents an important growth opportunity that plays to our tourism strategy of driving and strengthening air connectivity through expanding existing partnerships and targeting new gateway destinations,” said Lourdes Berho, chief executive, Mexico Tourism Board.
