Applications open for Mansarovar Yatra, 2016

March 19 (TravelAndy): The online process of application to take part in this year’s  Mansarovar yatra has begun.

Tourists can apply through the official Kailash Mansarovar Yatra website.

The journey will be conducted via two routes including Lipulekh Pass and Nathu La. Application for both the routes can be submitted online.

Tourists opting for the Lipulekh Pass journey will have to endure extensive trekking and it will cost INR1.6 lakh per person. The  Nathu La route is completely motorable and will cost INR 2 lakh per person.

Senior citizens are being advised to opt for the Nathu La route.

The journey will take place between June 12 and September 9, 2016.

Any one between the age group of 18-70 can apply to be a part of this journey.
