Airbnb opens Cuba doors to all nationalities

March 21 (TravelAndy): People from all nationalities can now book Airbnb accommodations in Cuba.

Online accommodation aggregator Airbnb started operating in Cuba in April 2015. However, it was permitted to only accommodate American citizens in their Cuban lodges.

With the revised verdict from the Obama administration, Airbnb has now opened its doors to everyone visiting Cuba.

At present, all Cuban hotels are state-owned and are infamous for poor conditions. This is expected to improve with Airbnb coming into the picture.
