Spring Airlines plans budget stays in Japan

Logo squareNovember 7 (TravelAndy): China’s only low-cost carrier Spring Airlines is planning to launch a chain of budget hotels in Japan, said reports.

In collaboration with a Japanese real estate company, the airline intends to set up 20 budget accommodations in the cities of Japan popular with tourists.

The first hotel is scheduled to come up in Aichi prefecture in Japan’s Chubu region, by June 2016.

This initiative is an attempt to facilitate budget travelers from China visiting  Japan.

Spring Airlines started direct flights from China to Japan in 2010.
