8 low-cost airlines form Value Alliance
May 18 (TravelAndy): Eight Asian low-lost airlines have come together to form Value Alliance, a common platform where travellers will shortly be able to book air tickets.
The eight airlines in this alliance are Cebu Pacific (Philippines), Jeju Air (South Korea), Nok Air (Thailand), Scoot (Singapore), Nok Scoot, Tigerair Australia, Tigerair Singapore and Vanilla Air (Japan).

Scoot to make India debut on May 24
April 22 (TravelAndy): Scoot, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is all set to start flights to India from May 24, 2016.
Scoot plans to operate from Singapore to three Indian cities — Chennai, Amritsar and Jaipur.
The airline will operate daily direct flights on the Singapore-Chennai route with flights departing Singapore at 22.55 and reaching Chennai at 00.10 the following day. Scoot to Osaka from Singapore
May 22 (TravelAndy): Singapore-based low cost airline Scoot will operate six flights every week to Osaka from July 8.
“Osaka has long been on our radar and we’re excited to add it to our network,” Scoot’s CEO, Campbell Wilson was quoted as saying in a report. Scoot already flies to Tokyo and Kyoto.
