Visitors can now board a helicopter from Mangaluru and reach the pilgrim destinations in Udupi or Kollur.

Other tourist spots in Udupi included under this service are Murudeshwar and Gokarna.

The helicopters can carry six passengers excluding the pilot.

Additionally, a 10-minute joyride has also been introduced, which will allow tourists to board the helicopters and enjoy the panoramic view of Udupi, Manipal and the pristine Maple beach.

The joyride around Udupi, Manipal and Maple will cost INR3,000 per head. Students are eligible to get a concession of INR400.
