The airline took the delivery of it’s twentieth aircraft recently.
According to Indian govervnment rules, India-based airlines need to have a minimum of 20 aircraft and complete five years of domestic operations to be eligible to start flying on international routes.

“GoAir has expressed its intent to fly overseas from next calendar year. It has indicated some regions,” DNA quoted civil Aviation Secretary R.N. Choubey as saying.
At present, only SpiceJet and Indigo are the Indian low-cost airlines that fly on international routes.
