Delhi-Toronto direct flight from Nov 1

The airline will use its new Dreamliner aircraft on this route and plans to operate four flights a week initially.

The flight will depart from the Canadian city at 8.55pm Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and landing in the Indian capital at 9.15pm, the next day.

The return flights will leave New Delhi at 12.45am Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and reach Toronto at 5am.

“Customer response to our announcement of the non-stop Dreamliner service between Toronto and Delhi has been very positive,” said Benjamin Smith, president, passenger airlines, at Air Canada.

Air Canada has plans to run daily flights on this route from October 30, 2016.
