Music, adventure at Arunachal’s Dambuk fest

Logo squareDecember 16 (TravelAndy): India’s northeastern state of Arunchal Pradesh is hosting the Dambuk Orange festival that started yesterday and will continue till December 18.

The Orange Festival of Adventure and Music is a popular music and adventure festival.

Several rock bands will perform at the festival. These include Delhi’s Menwhopause and Kolkata’s Ganesh Talkies as well as Shubhangi Joshi Collective from Mumbai. Itanagar-based hard rock band Tani is also included.

The Baby Boomers from Bhutan is also in the line-up.

Various adventure sports will also be demonstrated during the festival.

“The landlocked Dambuk has gone global with the Orange Festival,” said Chowna Mein, deputy chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh.

This is the third edition of the festival.
