September 8 (TravelAndy): A hop-on-hop-off boat service has been introduced in the Kochi-Muziris tourism circuit of Kerala.
This boat service is a first of its kind in India.
The Kerala tourism.department is now running three air-conditioned boats, which can ferry 25 passengers each along the historically famous spice route of south India.
The boats operate during the day and ferry tourists to destinations such as
Marine Drive, Bolgatty, Vypeen, Fort Kochi and Mattancherry.
Visitors can get off the boat at any of these destinations and can take a later boat to go to the next stop.
A single ticket is valid for visiting all the destinations on the route.
Along with these boats, water taxis have also been introduced to attract more tourists.
