July 13 (TravelAndy) : Travellers can now carry a permissible amount of marijuana on flights within the west American state of Oregon.
The state’s recreational marijuana law went into effect from July 1.
The aviation security at Portland Airport, Oregon, will let passengers carry up to one ounce of marijuana on flights within the state, reports said.
No underage passenger will be allowed to fly with it.
This permission is valid only for flights within Oregon. Carrying marijuana outside the state is still a punishable offence.
