Gül Baba tomb in Budapest attracts thousands
November 17 (TravelAndy): The recently-renovated Tomb of Gül Baba in Budapest is attracting a large number of visitors since its opening a little more than a month ago.
Thousands of tourists have visited the tomb of the Turkish dervish, who died in 1541 in Buda, the western side of the Danube River in Budapest, Hürriyet Daily News reported. His octagonal tomb was built between 1543 and 1548 in Rozsadomb (Rose Hill) on the Buda side of Budapest.

Russia lifts travel ban on Turkey
July 2 (TravelAndy): Russia has lifted a
ban on its citizens from travelling to Turkey following an apology by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for shooting down a Russian warplane last November.
After the apology was made official, Russia lifted restrictions imposed on charter flights between the two countries and also eased travel advisories for Russian tourists travelling to Turkey.
However, considering the terror attacks in Istanbul, the government of Russia has asked the Turkey government to ensure safety of their citizens visiting Turkey during the upcoming holiday season. Continue reading Russia lifts travel ban on Turkey
