France waives airport transit visa for Indians
July 28 (TravelAndy): Indian passport holders will no longer need a transit visa for transiting through airports in France.
“I’m pleased to announce that, with effect from 23rd July 2018, holders of Indian passports will no longer require an Airport Transit Visa (ATV) while transiting through the international zone of any airport in France,” tweeted Alexandre Ziegler, the ambassador of France to India.

Free UAE transit visa cheer for flyers
June 21 (TravelAndy): UAE’s decision to issue free transit visas is generating a lot of interest among tourists.
The UAE government has waived transit flyers from all entry fees for the first two days.
The fliers can choose to extend their stay by up to four days by paying a nominal AED50, Gulf News reported.
