Hundreds of hikers stranded on Mt Rinjani after quake
July 30 (TravelAndy): At least two trails up Mt Rinjani at Lombok island in Indonesia have become impassable following the Sunday morning earthquake in the popular tourist spot.
The 6.4 earthquake was followed by more than 60 aftershocks.
The tremour has left at least 14 dead and hundreds of hikers are stranded on Mt Rinjani, said reports. Lombok is located 40km east of Bali.

Cyclone strands thousands in Andaman
December 9 (TravelAndy): Severe depression caused above the Bay of Bengal has stranded approximately 1900 tourists in India’s popular tourist spot Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Havelock and Neil islands, in India’s union territory Andamans, are among the worst hit places.

Tourists stranded after snowfall in Pakistan
October 26 (TravelAndy): Thousands of tourists, both from across the country and foreign, are stranded in the scenic Naran valley in north Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province following heavy snowfall, said reports.
This is the earliest snowfall in the area in 40 years.
