Tourists return to Nepal’s Khumbu
October 17 (TravelAndy): Tourism activities in Nepal’s popular Khumbu region have started to recover after being badly hit by the devastating earthquake of April 25, said a report in Kathmandu Post.
The roads that were damaged in the earthquake are being reconstructed.

Literary fest in lap of Himalayas
September 22 (TravelAndy): Kumaon Literary Festival, an travelling five-day event that will be held in two venues, will kick off in the beautiful Kumaon Himalayas of India from October 23.
While the events of first three days will be held in the village of Dhanachuli, the remaining two days’ events will take place in the popular tourist destination of Nainital in India’s Uttarakhand state.
The discussions will be based on folklore, history, food and culture of the Kumaon Himalayas. Poetry inspired by Kumaon hills will be recited. A trek to Dhanachuli village is also on the cards. Continue reading Literary fest in lap of Himalayas
