February 25 (TravelAndy): Jammu and Kashmir has thrown open the gates of the historical Hari-Parbat fort for visitors, said reports.
Visitors can buy tickets from the two counters set up for the purpose at Interpretation Centre Chatipadshahi Rainawari and TRC Srinagar.
This historical fort, believed to have been built during Mughal emperor Akbar’s reign, is located on the top of Sharika hill, along the bank of Dal lake in Srinagar.
This fort remains under army occupation.
