AirAsia X to start US flights from June 28
February 16 (TravelAndy): AirAsia X will start flights between Kuala Lumpur and Honolulu, in Hawaii, US, from June 28.
The budget airline is offering all-in one way inaugural fares from MYR899. Premium flatbed fares start from MYR2,999.

Air Asia to offer tickets from INR1099
March 6 (TravelAndy): Air Asia is all set to offer tickets at all-inclusive discounted one way fare starting from INR1099, on select domestic routes.
Tickets can be booked from March 7 to March 13, for a travel period of October 1, 2016 to May 22, 2017.

Kuala Lumpur introduces tourist pass
November 5 (TravelAndy): Malaysia has introduced a pass that will help tourists get a hassle-free experience of Kuala Lumpur.
The pass, which comes in 1-day (MYR165), 3-day (MYR395) and 6-day (MYR675) versions, can be bought from the website, Klpass.com.

Go to Malaysia for the food
Malaysia is pretty well connected by flights from India.
Apart from the several direct connections to Kuala Lumpur, India’s first direct flight to Penang also started recently. Despite all that, I find most travellers using Malaysia as a flight connection hub rather than a travel destination in itself. I wonder why.

Air Asia to fly Kuala Lumpur-Goa
June 4 (TravelAndy): In what could be a major boost to tourism in Goa, Air Asia has announced to start flights between the Indian beach haven and Kuala Lumpur.
The low-cost carrier will operate three flights a week on this route from August 27, the airline has announced.
