GoAir starts night flights to Port Blair
January 26 (TravelAndy): Indian low cost carrier GoAir has become the first domestic airline to operate night flights to Port Blair, said reports.
The airline rolled out a commercial charter flight to Port Blair from Bengaluru on January 22, which left Bengaluru at 11.15pm and reached Port Blair at1.50am the next day.

January 13 (TravelAndy): GoAir is all set to start flight services between Mumbai and Leh from March 27, said reports.

January 12 (TravelAndy): Budget carrier GoAir has introduced a discount offer on one way base airfare that starts from INR601, including base fare and surcharge.
The booking for this scheme is open till January 12, midnight.

Bookings under this offer can be made till November 24, for travel between January 1 and September 30, 2016.

GoAir offers fares from INR601
October 29 (TravelAndy): GoAir has joined the host of airlines offering discounts now.
The airline is offering fares starting from INR601 excluding taxes for bookings till November 1. The travel dates for these tickets are from November 23 to December 16.

India: Railways tie up with airlines
June 11 (TravelAndy): Passengers on waiting list of Indian Railways could now choose to fly to their destinations by converting their train tickets into flight ones at a competitive rate.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the Indian Railways subsidiary that handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing, recently signed a deal with GoAir to this effect. Talks are on to include SpiceJet in this scheme too.
This facility is applicable for passengers who book their tickets at least three days before their travel date. Such passengers, if wait-listed, will receive an email from IRCTC and can cancel their unconfirmed tickets to buy flight tickets for the date of travel or one day prior to it.
